Puppets
Here are my puppets which will be shown in a short video which is all about the canteen play / script that we got from Steve which we had to review and then come up with a video for. As everyone seemed to be doing model people, i decided to create my video around puppets as this would help me in my Brook Theatre project seeing as thats all about a teddy bear.
I was going to make them myself, but after looking at costs i thought it was easier to buy them and so i asked Steve about it and he managed to get them for me which i was very pleased about.

24/11/2009 – Int Canteen Day Set-up
In todays lesson we’ve had to think about starting our video blogs, and my first one will be the script that steve gave us to review. Its all about this girl and boy meeting for the first time at their canteen, and yet there is a twist about that secretly they know eachother. complicated i know but its fine.
Ive decided id like to do the characters as Puppet people, or bireds/ Tebby bears, what ever i can find / buy/ make myself. I have 25 shots to film, so think this will take a while, although i now know that i have to film each scence as 1 shot. Also the only people i’d need is a girls voice, and 3 boy voices. Deciding on doing puppets was easier than finding suitable candidates to play the roles of Sara, Tom and the other two boys… (Man and Friend). also using the puppets will help me with my Chatham project with Claire for the Creative & Media Diploma, as for our prject about Chatham, im using a teddy bear called Berny, to travel around Chatham as a tourist and to help educate children, with all the history and secrets that chatham hold. Having this helps be also get used to using a video camera, although i have made my own videos using different software, but its all good at the momment.
Now all im going to do is find the people i want to use as voice overs and suitable puppets to help me carry it off!

Well just had a look on the internet but its not going too well…..
Found a woman but not a man although i have found a piarte, maybe he will help me out. Think i have to do alot more research to see what comes up or maybe think about making one. Dont know how easy it will be but ill have to wait and see, maybe do some paper models first. Ill ask steve and see if i can do it in his lesson. You never knw..

Today in steves lesson we got to learn more about how to use the wordpress, however uploading videos and images i already knew, and also catergoring posts and stuff like that i already knew… cleaver cloggs!
However he did show me how to add someone i like, for example didfferent pupils in my class, although i have done that, but i dont really know how to look at other peoples like random people. Theres one person im quite looking forward to maybe adding, but i’ll have to wait and see.
Hope today that we dont have to do our video blog, and dont look too good and have a terrible cold,…. suffering but managing it okai.

Today in Stevens lesson i got the chance to know how to edit short movies making them what i’d like to show and also how to set up this blog. The movie i had to edit was actually really interesting to watch for it was all about Anti-socail behavour and how normal people on the streets feel about it aswell as tennagers; seeing as we get all the stick for the problems that happen because everybody feels like we are the terrible lot, whereas in reality theres only a few number of teenagers who are actually the trouble makers, coursing the rest of us to suffer. I found the actually construction of the film to be very well procented as there where a few camera tricks and effects that made it more interesting and gave me alot of inpiration for when i start my very own film about ME 
Although im very tired after traveling back from Scotland last night, but still enjoyed his lesson.
